About Women Entrepreneurs’ Consortium
Women Entrepreneurs’ Consortium An initiative of MINDS Trust, the Women Entrepreneurs’ Consortium (WEC) is dedicated to empowering women across various domains and fostering sustainable livelihoods. We began our journey in Madabakkam, Chennai, with a vision to establish chapters every 5 kilometers, bringing together women entrepreneurs to form supportive communities focused on collective business growth.
This approach aims to enhance the livelihoods and economic stability of local communities while nurturing new entrepreneurs from the age of 18. Our efforts extend beyond community engagement; we also prioritize the development of young women in higher education. We encourage college students to acquire practical skills such as nail art, mehndi, or Aari work, enabling them to earn while they study.
